How To Register:
1. Determine your child's “Little League Age,” which is set using the birthdate. The age calculator is here: Age Calculator. This age remains that player’s “Little League Age” for the entire calendar year.
2. Choose a Division: The Divisions have age ranges, some of which can overlap, so there may be multiple Division options for certain ages. In the DIVISIONS section of the website (which is found on the NBLL Homepage), we provide information and target skill levels to help you decide.
3. Go to the NBLL website, look in the upper right corner for the Register / Login buttons (this is on the NBLL Homepage).
Already have an account? -- If you already have a parent or family login, you will click LOGIN. If any of your kiddos have played either NBLL baseball or softball, you should have an account. Update any family information, such as address, email contact information, etc. Add any new players. From there you can select which divisions each player in your family will be playing in. Do your best to find the right division based on the descriptions. Based on the information you enter your child may be moved to a different division depending on registration numbers and skill sets of all players. Any price changes will be either refunded or collected once teams are formed.
New to NBLL? -- If you are new to NBLL you need to create a parent account first. Do so by clicking REGISTER in the upper right corner of the screen. Fill in all parent or guardian information, including email addresses and alternate email addresses. Next, add your players. Once players are added, you will see a selection of division options based on their age. Do your best to find the right division based on the descriptions. Based on the information you enter, your child may be moved to a different division depending on registration numbers and skill sets of all players. Any price changes will be either refunded or collected once teams are formed.

When do we register?
Spring Registration:
For AA and AAA Minors, Majors, Intermediates and Seniors, registration begins around Thanksgiving and typically runs through February. Assessments are required for these levels of players and assessments are held in late February and early March. Teams are formed after a player draft and the goal is to have the first team meeting mid-March.
For Rookies and Tball, registration begins around Thanksgiving and runs through the first week of March. Teams are typically formed based on school enrollment and neighborhoods. Teams typically meet for the first time about the beginning of April.
Fall Ball Registration:
Fall Registration for all levels begins in mid-July and runs through the second week in August. Teams are formed after this time with the goal of the season to begin after Labor Day.
Additional Notes:
For the Spring season, there will be mandatory Assessments in February/March for all players League Age 9 or above. This also includes any player registering for the AA Minors Division, AAA Minors Division, Majors Division, and Intermediates Division. Assessments facilitate the drafts, which form the teams. Assessments also help to place players into appropriate divisions and create a good mix of player experience and ability. This promotes competitive play and helps to ensure safety.
Once assessments are completed, NBLL may need to reassign a child to a different division from the one in which he or she was originally registered. This may be done for a variety of reasons, including: the formation of equal teams, to ensure that each division has the requisite number of players, safety, and for the general well-being of the league as a whole.
Players registering for T-Ball and Rookies do not need to undergo Spring assessments. They will be placed on teams by the NBLL Player Agent and Division Directors.
Teams in the higher divisions, including the AA Minors Division, AAA Minors Division, Majors Division and Intermediates Division are formed by drafts. During the draft, NBLL coaches will select players to their teams.
The Spring Season usually begins with practice just before the Boise School District's Spring Break, and then games which begin just after Spring Break. The season runs no later than the last day of the school year, towards the end of May.
The Fall season usually begins with practices when the Boise School District starts school in August, and then games start after Labor Day.
There are no assessments nor drafts for the Fall league and the teams will be assigned by the NBLL Player Agent, Fall Ball Director, and Division Directors, using prior assessments and feedback from coaches.
